March 2011 marks the end of year one of my venture into the world of food-blogging!  It’s been a fun journey – I’ve learned so much, tried new things, and most of all, made new friends!  There’s something about having a shared passion that creates an instant bond.

Baking is my true passion, but I am gaining confidence in other areas of cooking daily.  My husband, John, and I are a great team and we love spending time together in the kitchen – not to mention the wonderful results of our labor!

    Susan the Red Wine Steak dish looks devine. I love the look of the potatoes and wow the steak is making my mouth water. And, of course I must mention that I notice a VIP in the midst. Braveheart is looking so innocent and ready to eat.
