Simple Blueberry Parfaits ~ Baked Sunday Mornings

July 15, 2012 by susanelester

Truly simple ~ and truly delicious!
Blueberry Sauce in the making

This week’s Baked Sunday Mornings challenge is for these delicious Simple Blueberry Parfaits.  Wow – simple, delicious, and beautiful – it doesn’t get much better than this!  These parfaits alternate pulverized Nilla Wafers with fresh blueberries simmered in Grand Marnier and whipped cream.

Let the layering begin!
Duncan Miller Teardrop goblets from our Depression Glass collection

These parfaits are the perfect light summer dessert for company – or just for yourself!  I think these would be great with other types of berries as well.

Enjoy!

You’re right, Susan, it doesn’t get much better than this – a rather light but festive and beautiful dessert. Love your Depression glass.
