Thank you for your support of our blog – this year we passed 100,000 page views! March will mark the third anniversary of this venture. I’ve made wonderful, supportive friends and have learned so much. Here’s a quick recap of our top five posts of 2012.
Number one: Red Velvet Brownies with Cream Cheese Frosting
I made these brownies for my friend Mary’s birthday in May. They’re beautiful, festive, and easy to make.
Number two: Chocolate-Pecan Pie Bars ~ Southern Living Magazine These bar cookies from Southern Living Magazine were so delicious! Although they are perfect for autumn, you’re sure to enjoy them anytime.
Number three: Maple *Bundt* Cake with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting I adapted a cupcake recipe from Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito’s “Baked Explorations” to make this beautiful and delicious Bundt Cake.
Number four: Another recipe from “Baked Explorations” ~ Sawdust Pie! It’s so much better than it sounds – filled with coconut and chocolate.
Number five: Strawberry Lemonade Picnic Cake This beautiful, delightful cake is the epitome of summer and would be perfect for any celebration!

Happy New Year, Susan!
(P.S. I have that bundt pan. It’s such a nice twist on the classic shape, I think 🙂 )

Your maple bundt cake was a favorite of mine, Susan. I also think some of your fish and meat dishes are absolutely fabulous. As my Life settles down and I settle in more, I look forward to adapting them to my Lifestyle. It’s relatively easy to go from “two to one” and not be left with so many leftovers. I also enjoy the manner in which you and John use spices, sometimes spices I’ve never used nor heard of. Thank you for always giving us your sources. Oh, I just saw where Trevor and Kathy also enjoy your dinner menus and pictures. Congratulations on three years of a job well done. Happy New Year to you all. A big Meow and “Way to Go” to Braveheart. Loved the Christmas card picture.
