Decadence on a plate! |
This week’s Baked Sunday Mornings challenge is for Banana Mousse Parfaits but John and I decided to make up a recipe we’d missed, Mississippi Mud Pie (A), instead. Although the *Baked* Coffee Ice Cream is John’s favorite ice cream to date, we used Hagen Dazs for this pie.
The Chocolate Bourbon Fudge layer… |
This super-decadent dessert is really easy to make but it takes time to set between each step. Truthfully, we would have been thrilled with the chocolate bourbon fudge alone! This pie is built upon a chocolate crumb crust that’s filled with fudge, layered with ice cream and toasted pecans, then topped off with chocolate bourbon ganache.
It’s amazingly rich – a dessert definitely worthy of a dinner party.

This is one recipe from the Baked boys that I´ve been meaning to make for a long time. Looks decadent Susan! I´m checking out that coffee ice cream too. Btw, that pic of the car in the sand is awesome.
