Baked Sunday Mornings: Simple Chocolate Whiskey Tart with Whiskey Whipped Cream

January 20, 2014 by susanelester 10 Comments

With Whiskey Whipped Cream and an Ole Smokey Moonshine Cherry on top!
This week’s Baked Sunday Mornings challenge is for Simple Chocolate Whiskey Tart with Whiskey Whipped Cream!  Imagine a crust of crushed shortbread cookies and butter filled with velvety chocolate enhanced with a shot or two of whiskey – Yum!  And, if that’s not enough, top it off with Whiskey Whipped Cream!  The filling tastes like the best, richest chocolate pudding.

Easy & elegant!

This tart is easy to make, elegant, and decadent.  It would be wonderful to make for a dinner party and would be lovely with fresh fruit.

Looks and sounds wonderful! Right up my alley, but you should have used whisky instead! 😉 I’m prejudiced, though! haha!

Great looking tart, Susan! I loved this tart with whipped cream. I was amazed at just how good it was. And even more impressed with how easy it was to make. All my taste testers loved it.

The only problem with the filling is that there wasn’t more of it!!!

You made a beautiful tart, Susan. That crust looks about perfect. So surprised you had a little whiskey on hand. Not.

This is a recipe I had my eye on. Looks great Susan! Whiskey is so wonderful as a flavoring in baking. I moved and now see the moon over the water every night, so amazing!
