Layers of flavor! |
This week’s Baked Sunday Mornings challenge is for this amazing chocolate, caramel, walnut tart that has been tragically mis-named. Â It should be called “Magical Candy Bar Tart” or “Amazing Candy Bar Tart.” Â It was easy to make but so incredibly elegant and delicious. Â We served it as part of a dessert buffet on the 4th of July and it was the stand-out favorite.

So much better than any candy bar I’ve ever had! |
The recipe calls for a 9-inch springform pan but I only have a 10-inch pan, so I made 1 1/2 times the recipe which was fortunate considering how much everyone loved it. Â Seriously, imagine toasted walnuts bathed in caramel nestled in a bed of chocolate crust covered in chocolate ganache. Â Need I say more? Â This tart is easy to make but oh-so-elegant to serve!
O.M.G! Seriously, this is beyond awesome! Too bad I wasn’t there!! 😉
This is gorgeous…and so decadent! Yum!
Wow, sounds amazing Susan! Hope you had a lovely 4th!
Beautiful! I loved this tart!
Looks awesome on that beautiful cake stand!
That looks so decadent and rich! Happy 4th! ~ David
I like how the chocolate is a full layer on the top of yours, Mine just barely covered the walnuts. I liked this but I almost found it too sweet. Not sure what’s wrong with me today!
Ha, I love your alternate names for the tart — and that luscious, thick layer of chocolate on top!
Looks fantastic! This really was easy to make.
What an incredible tart, it looks divine!
I think about stuff like recipe titles too, jaja! You reminded me of two tarts I used to make, similar to this one. I need to try this recipe! Anything from those books turns out amazing!
Wow! That looks amazing.
